In 2020, we thought about the idea of creating a children's rehabilitation centre, despite the fact that there are many different rehabilitation centres in Ukraine, we see the need to use the recreational potential of the town of Vorzel to rehabilitate and improve the health of children in Kiev and the Kiev region. Thanks to its exceptional natural and climatic conditions, Vorzel has become very popular, above all as a recreational area. Nature helps to treat and prevent diseases of the nervous system, musculoskeletal system, respiratory system, neuroendocrine and immune system. The centre should provide physical rehabilitation services, psychological support, career guidance for older children, inclusive studios for children with disabilities as well as for healthy children from the community, and work with parents from the community and work with parents. Specialists of the centre - use modern rehabilitation techniques in harmony with nature, including animal therapy, hydrokinesis therapy The war changed our plans and the experience of working with displaced children came in handy in the new reality Houses in Vorzel have suffered less than the neighbouring towns of Bucha, Irpen and Borodyanka. But people, especially children, need help now more than ever - humanitarian/material, medical and psychological. So after the freeing of Vorzel, we returned to the idea of setting up a rehabilitation centre, but with the situation in Ukraine in mind - with refugees, with children physically traumatised by shelling and fires, with severe psychological trauma.
